EPP code and everything about it Print

  • 8

The Domain Authorization Code (also called Auth Code or EPP Code) is a secret code that is required if you want to transfer your domain name.

The thing with EPP codes is that each domain has a unique code that is assigned by the domain registrar, it can also be changed by them, so you can feel secure. Your domain will not be transferred without your permission!

It is important that an EPP key is required when transferring domains in the .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info and .us zones. If your domain name is different, you do not need an EPP code. Each zone within domains has its own security measures and rules.
