Dear customers and partners!

The global internet security industry is entering a new phase.
According to the CA/B Forum, the maximum validity period of SSL certificates will be reduced to 200 days starting in 2026.
The changes will take effect on the following dates:
 - DigiCert/RapidSSL/GeoTrust/Thawte: February 24, 2026
 - Sectigo/Comodo: March 12, 2026

What does this mean for you?
*Current certificates: All SSL certificates issued before the specified dates remain valid until the end of their validity period. No immediate action is required.
*Reissue and renewal: If you reissue or renew your certificate after these dates, its validity will be reduced to a maximum of 199 days.

Why is this happening? This shortening of the validity period is an initiative of major tech giants (Apple, Google, Mozilla). A short certificate lifecycle allows you to:
*Respond instantly to new cyberthreats.
*Verify the authenticity of domain owners more frequently.
